Today I visited the Caurthauld Gallery (housing some of the most important paintings of Impressionism) AND the Tate Britain, home to some of my favourite British paintings. How I survived I do not know (and with twisted ankle to boot!) but this is my ideal day out in one of my favourite cities!
They say the youth is wasted on the young; I remember being severely homesick when I went to study at Chelsea School of Art many moons ago, but give me London (or Paris) any day of the week now.
A whistlestop tour, I’m afraid, but I’m feeling really inspired to resume my teaching next week!
Next time I’ll stay longer and then I can catch up with some friends too!
