In the summer of 2021 I embarked on a wonderful, fulfilling journey teaching art to children between the ages of 7 and 15. In 2017 I trained as a support youth worker, so combining my love for kids with art is a win win combination for me. Many moons ago I had thought about teaching as a career but my designer hat took over! I feel that the stars are aligning as I enter the fifth decade of my life 🙂
Mental health is also something that is close to my heart, in particular I like to bring awareness about how beneficial and therapeutic art is for mental health. I therefore also try to incorporate art therapy techniques whenever I can.
