Absolutely delighted (and shocked 
) to have been awarded 2ND PRIZE Adult Section in the Heritage Trust Painting Competition which took place a couple of weekends ago! 
Judged by three amazing local artists (Karl, Chris-Anne and Leslie) so I feel even prouder to have been selected among what I thought were very strong entries this year.
I love how the Heritage Trust have had three judges this year. I believe this is how competitions should be judged, I think Gibraltar Cultural Services should take note (it’s why I never enter the big competitions because I do not believe that they are judged fairly).
That said, I feel super chuffed with my award, thank you so much
I wanted to create a piece that lent itself to the nature of the location, Witham’s Cemetery, and hopefully capture its essence!

Wow, what a week it has been! Starting with my weekly art class on Wednesday at Gibraltar Artists Studio to Thursday’s ‘art & wine’ class at Caffe Bottega! I also teach art techniques to adults on Tuesday mornings and the results of today’s class has blown me away
Walking home this evening after doing my kids’ classes, I’ve been contemplating on how lucky I am to be teaching to my community!
